My Perfect Podcast
From technique to technology we (myself, independent, and professional podcasters) dive into all ends of the pool to help YOU decide what your personal definition is of the perfect podcast. That’s right, we are not here to define it for you. We are here to help you write your own definition. It doesn’t matter if you are hanging out with friends in your basement and recording game night or part of a multi-billion dollar corporation you have a message and its up to you to define and realize your personal vision of your perfect podcast.
Ryan Jackson
During a very difficult time in Ryan’s life, he stumbled upon this thing called a podcast. It was during this time that he discovered a new passion in life and was determined to use this new form of media and content delivery to help spread his personal message in hopes to make people think, laugh, or cry while he entertained and educated them about relationships, love, sex, marriage, respect, trust, recovery, personal safety and so much more based on his twenty year career in the mental health field.
After discovering podcasting three years ago, Ryan has studied the art of podcasting by researching, taking online classes, going to Podcast conferences and conventions, and listening to an average of 50 hours of content per week while traveling for work. While most are podcasts about podcasting, Ryan also enjoys entrepreneurial, true crime, comedy, history, and paranormal drama podcasts.
As a musician and former live venue sound engineer, the technical side came easily as he started developing his first show. Now, with multiple podcasts and hundreds of hours of published content, he uses his knowledge, experience, and passion to help others determine how they feel is the best way to deliver their message.
Ryan is a graduate of both Hall of Fame Podcaster Dave Jackson’s SchoolofPodcasting.com and world-famous music and podcast producer Chris Curran’s PodcastEngineeringSchool.com. He has been a guest and/or has had his shows featured on award-winning podcasts including School of Podcasting, Scratch Your Own Itch, Ask the Podcast Coach, Podcast Rodeo Show, Because of My Podcast, Kuldrin’s Krypt: A BDSM 101 Podcast, and A Time to Laugh.
